PRIVACY NOTICE

 

                At Regal Motors, Inc., we strive to maintain your privacy while offering you products and services, or information about products and services, that may be of interest to you.  We want you to understand what information we collect, and how we use and protect it.  This notice serves as a standard for all Regal Motors, Inc. employees for collection, use, retention, and security of nonpublic personal consumer information.  While providing you with an overview of our current privacy policy and practices, this notice also provides you with an opportunity to “opt-out” from receiving certain information.

 

 

Why are you getting this notice now?

 

The Gramm-Leach Bliley Act of 1999 and recent regulations stemming from the Act established new requirements for certain organizations like us regarding the provision of privacy protections for and notices to consumers and customers like you.

 

 

Information practices.

 

1.             We collect nonpublic personal information about you from the following sources in order to help provide, administer, and service products and services:

 

                !               Information we receive from you on applications or other forms;

                !               Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others; and

                !               Information we receive from any consumer reporting agencies.

 

2.             We may disclose all of the information that we collect about you as described above, while you are a consumer, customer, or former customer, to our affiliates and to non-affiliated third parties as permitted by law.

 

Examples of parties we might share your information with include:

 

                !               Financial service providers, such as banks or financial lending companies;

!               Non-financial companies, such as automobile manufacturers, advertising and marketing firms, warranty and insurance companies; and

                !               Others, such as the Department of Motor Vehicles.

 

3.             If you prefer that we not disclose nonpublic personal information about you to non-affiliated third parties, you may opt out of those disclosures; that is, you may direct us not to make those disclosures (other than disclosures as required and/or permitted by law).  If you wish to opt out of disclosures to non-affiliated third parties, you may check the box below.

 

4.             We may also disclose, while you a consumer, customer, or former customer, any information we collect about you to companies that perform marketing services on our behalf or to other financial institutions with whom we have joint marketing agreements.  This disclosure is permitted by law and there is no opt-out opportunity available.

 

5.             We restrict access to nonpublic personal information about you to only those employees who need to know that information to provide products or services to you.  We also maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to guard your nonpublic personal information.
